Jonathan Sutton
Jonathan lives in Vancouver, and works regularly in a variety of artistic disciplines, including directing, acting, writing, music, visual art, and teaching. As well as playing the role of Alex, Jonathan wrote, produced and directed God’s Baboons.

Other film and TV acting credits include Dead Like Me, Smallville, Various Positions, Young Person’s Guide to Becoming a Rock Star, Mysterious Ways, the Robert Altman film Trixie, the local independent short The Bug, and local independent features Girl King and One Hit Wonder.

In theatre, Jonathan has played Thurio in Two Gentlemen of Verona for Bard on the Beach, the title role in Bobby Gould in Hell for The Escape Artists, and an Architect in The Overcoat for The Playhouse. Jonathan is also a regular member of the Savage God Shakespeare Reading series, having played Puck in A Midsummer Night's Dream, Aumerle in Richard II, Prince Henry in King John, and Dr. Pinch in Comedy of Errors.

Jonathan attended both McGill University and UBC, where he received a BA in English and a BFA in acting.
